MEEM concentrates on the important things and backs up your personal data:

It does not back up general stuff like apps, which can be recovered from the Google Play Store.

You can choose from three memory sizes. For most people 32GB will be sufficient and will provide enough space for approximately 10,000 photos or 80 1-minute videos (depending on quality) and virtually unlimited contact and calendar entries. For photo or video buffs or anyone who wants to archive data or back up multiple devices (up to 3), a larger memory size is more suitable.

You don’t need a monthly subscription and your data is only visible to you or those you choose to share it with - we can’t see any of it.

MEEM will work with Smartphones or Tablets with a Micro USB Connector and running Android OS 4.1.2 and above. For users of Android devices with a USB Type C connector, the MEEM cable can be used with your device with an approved SYNC and CHARGING Micro USB To USB Type C ADAPTOR (not included). Please ensure your device is compatible.

Excellent Product and Customer Service.

This is a brilliant product, simple to set up and simple to use. I ordered one in August and was so pleased with it that I ordered 3 more for my family as Christmas presents. I did experience a problem when the cable wouldn’t connect to my phone, but my email to Meem was answered within the hour and a replacement dispatched immediately, excellent service from which others could learn.

Brilliant Customer Service

Doesn’t work with my Wileyfox Swift (cyanogen) phone. Meem replaced first one, problem persists with the new cable. Disappointing. Meem – very good response to my Facebook complaint though. EDIT 30/6/16 It looks as though the problem was to do with my phone and not the MEEM.

Fantastic piece of kit – simple to use

Fantastic piece of kit – simple to use and a potential life saver if I lose/break my phone. Fact of life that we all need to charge our phones daily (for your average phone user) so backup will only ever be 1 day or so old at the most.

MEEM Memory Cable for Apple iPhone

I recently brought the Meem cable for my iphone, but being an old fart was a little confused in Its application, I contacted Meem via their website and had the most useful feedback you could get. Having now understood how simple it is to use, I would highly recommend this device to anyone concerned about losing or having their phone stolen.

The Android version of the MEEM cable has a Micro USB connector.

Without an Micro USB to USB C adaptor, this cable will not work directly with:
